My main therapy and busywork since Summer 2022 has been making sofa-size blankets (“woobies”) to give away. Each is unique, made according entirely to my whim, sometimes with more formal stripe patterns and sometimes silly-to-cacophonous. They are not great quality yarn, not an exciting stitch structure, and not fancy, but they are what I can do for people, and I love making them. I’m showing a few samples here, most go out in a rush without being photographed.
Contact me for more information about how to donate a blanket to anyone.
Other creative exploration this year included knit structure exploration and development, messy printmaking, and a little bit of loose work with paint.
